Norman Ellis Fox, 89
KENNEDYVILLE, Md. - Norman Ellis Fox, of Kennedyville, died on March 4, 2009, in his home. He was 89. Born on Sept. 4, 1919, in Norristown, Pa., he was the son of the late Ellis L. Fox and Edna Keisen Fox. He graduated from Norristown High School and then moved to Kennedyville with his family where he began his family's farm. Mr. Fox was also the former Compliance Supervisor for the Agricultural Stabilization Committee. He was a member and former trustee with the Kennedyville United Methodist Church as well as former President of the Kent Museum where he enjoyed volunteering time and guiding tours of preserved antique farm equipment. Mr. Fox was former President of the local chapter of the National Farmers Organization and a former member of the Kent County Farm Bureau. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and golfing at Great Oak. Mr. Fox is survived by his wife, Anna Elizabeth Richard Fox of Kennedyville; daughters, Norma Lynn Fox of Potomac, Susan Elizabeth Fox of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a son, Richard David Fox of Salisbury; a grandson, Lewis Andrew Citrenbaum of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and a son-in-law, Marko M. G. Slusarczuk of Potomac. Services will be held 11 a.m. today, March 7, 2009, in Kennedyville United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kennedyville Methodist Church, P.O.
