Anderson, 46 DOVER - Norman C. Anderson, of Dover, passed away Friday March 30, 2012, at home. Norm was born August 28, 1965, in Lakenheath, England to the late Richard Anderson and Lillian Long Anderson. He was most recently employed as an auto mechanic for Admiral Tire. Prior to that, he worked for Del Dot as a mechanic. Norm had a passion for riding motorcycles. He loved taking day-long trips on his Harley with his friends. Norm was an avid animal lover. His dogs were his family. The time he had with Chance and Moonet meant a lot to him and his wife. Norm had a kind heart and was always willing to help a stranger or a friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Bodha. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Francine Reichardt Anderson of Dover; sisters, Richenda Sheridan and her husband Raymond of Felton, Claudine Anderson and her husband Gokhan of Oakland, Calif.; brothers, Andy Anderson of London, England, John Anderson of Towson, Md; mother in law, Connie Reichardt of Dover; brother in law, Kenneth Reichardt and his wife Rebecca of Dover; sister in laws, Rhonda Reichardt and her life partner Julie Hanks of Silver Thorne, Colo., and Shona Koetteritz and her husband Fred of Dillon, Colo; nephews, David C. Melvin of Felton, and John R. Harvey of Magnolia; as well as many more nieces, nephews and many friends. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720 or the Kent County SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
