WYOMING - Nicola Iubatti, of Wyoming, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, in his home. He was 67.
Mr. Iubatti was born Nov. 12, 1939, in Lanciano, Italy.
He came to the United States in 1958, settling in Wilmington before moving to Wyoming two years ago.
Mr. Iubatti was employed in electrical maintenance for Jefferson Smurfit Plastics for 12 years before retiring. After his retirement, he spent three years doing maintenance repairs along the East Coast for the Bob Evans Corp.
Mr. Iubatti was an avid soccer player, coach and fan, and also enjoyed doing home improvements. He was also a classic car enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Norma (Farmer) Iubatti; two sons, Anthony Iubatti, of Wyoming and Christopher Iubatti of New Castle; a daughter, Angela Iubatti, of Wyoming; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier.
