Nicholas Andrew Kollot, 51

SMYRNA - Nicholas Andrew Kollot, of Smyrna, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 28, 2008. He was 51.

Nick served with the Delaware National Guard for 25 years where he worked as a civil technician.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing and traveling.

Nick cherished his time with his children. He lived to love and loved to live.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Kollot; and brother, Michael Kollot.

Nick is survived by his mother, Dolores Moxey Kollot; son, Christopher Kollot; daughters, Jacqueline and Jessica Kollot; children's mother, Caroline Kollot; stepson, Randy Doughten; sister, Karen Aebersold; niece, Julie; nephew, Branden; and three grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday in Full Gospel Church, Clayton, from 10-11 a.m. followed by a service in celebration of Nick's life at 11 a.m.

Burial will be private.

Instead of flowers, contributions may be sent to assist homeless veterans to Home of the Brave, 6632 Sharp Road, Milford, DE 19963; or Full Gospel Church, 1119 Clayton Delaney Road, Clayton, DE 19938.
