Nellie Mae Shears, 87
DOVER - Nellie Mae Shears of Dover died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, in Courtland Manor Nursing Home. She was 87.
Mrs. Shears was born Nov. 3, 1919, in Cheswold to the late Joseph E. Swain and Nettie Moore Swain.
Mrs. Shears was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and freshwater fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Shears in 1993; and her brother, Joseph Swain, in July 2007.
Mrs. Shears is survived by her sister, Betty Hutchins of Dover; and her sister-in-law, Lillian Swain; and five nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be private.
