Nell Joyce King, 84
LEWES - Nell Joyce King of Lewes, formerly of Ocean City, Md., died peacefully Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, in Harbor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewes. She was 84.
Mrs. King was born in Toccoa, Ga., daughter of the late John L. Phillips and Maude (Cook) Phillips.
She was a longtime business owner in Ocean City.
Mrs. King moved to Lewes in 1998, where she resided with her sister, Jewell McQuay. She was an avid golfer and gardener.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick King; and two older sisters, Jane Hammond of Georgia and Virginia Marchegiani of Florida
She is survived by a sister, Jewell McQuay; and numerous nieces, greatnieces, and great-greatnieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax VA 22038-1131.
