Nelida Louise 'Nell' Guessford, 85
SMYRNA - Nelida Louise "Nell" Guessford of Smyrna died Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 85.
Mrs. Guessford was born Aug. 26, 1921, in Mississippi, daughter of the late James and Minnie (McLellend) Cawley.
She lived most of her adult life in Delaware with her loving husband of 52 years.
Mrs. Guessford was always surrounded by family and friends of all ages. With her many talents, her love of sports and a great sense of humor, she brought much joy and laughter to all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Guessford, on July 21, 1995.
She is survived by two daughters, Robin Cox and her husband, Ernie and Terri Householder and her husband, Bob; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private.
