Neill E. Frey

DOVER - Neill E. Frey of Dover passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Kent General Hospital. He was 73. Mr. Frey was born August 17, 1942 in Cumberland, Md. to the late Eugene L. Frey and Sarah E. Neill Frey. He served in the Army National Guard from 1966-1987. Mr. Frey previously sold life insurance before working for Capitol Homes in sales for over 20 years. He was known for his cowboy boots, hats and bolo ties. Mr. Frey enjoyed collecting American Eagle figurines, spending time with his family and dogs. Mr. Frey was a faithful Philadelphia Eagles fan who sadly never got to see them win a Super Bowl. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Pollock Frey, 2015 He is survived by his mother-in-law, Betty Pollock of Columbia, Mo.; step son, Todd Kramer and his wife Mazie of Dover; step son, James Nunes and his wife Kimberly of Little Heaven; brother, Frank Frey and his wife Maxine of Cumberland, Md.; grandchildren, Jason Foraker and wife Shondia of Magnolia, Kaylinn Rodriguez of Dover, William Kramer, II of Dover, Amanda Farrell and husband Charles of Warner Robins, Ga., Paige Kramer of Evansville, Ind., Brittany Nunes of Harrington, Ashley Nunes of Smyrna; four great grandchildren, and his faithful dogs, Sassy and Bubba Bear. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to American Lung Association, 422 S. Governors Avenue, Dover, DE 19904. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
