Naomi M. Mayne, 78

WYOMING - Naomi M. Mayne of Wyoming died Thursday, April 26, 2007, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 78.

She was born on May 9, 1928, in Heaters, W.Va., daughter of the late Samuel G. and Bessie (Osborn) Prince.

Mrs. Mayne had worked at Kraft General Foods, Dover for 211/2 years, retiring at the age of 55. She enjoyed her retirement years as a homemaker spending time with family and friends.

She will be remembered as a caring and loving woman, always ready and willing to help others.

Mrs. Mayne was a longtime member of TOPS Chapter of Wyoming and had attended the Full Gospel Lighthouse Church, Felton.

She is survived by two sons, Walter "Bucky" Sawyer and is wife, Karen of Wyoming and Wayne Adkins Sr. and his wife, Ruth of Dover; four daughters, Doris Cook and her husband, Archie of Marydel, Clara Sheridan and her husband, Raymond of Felton, Edna Cook of Wyoming and Angie Moore and her husband, Cliff of Felton; a brother, Gilbert Prince of Wyoming; a sister, Marbia Powers of New Castle; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
