Naomi Johnson, 83
FELTON, Del. - Naomi Johnson passed peacefully Monday, August 2, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at home. She lived to be 83 years old and made lasting memories and was loved by all. She was known for her unconditional love, contagious smile, and strong hugs.
Mrs. Johnson was born November 26, 1937 in Austin, Texas to the late Abe Garcia and Nora Isaac Garcia. She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her seven children and spending time with her 28 grandchildren and all of her loved ones.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Johnson, Sr.; daughter Mata Doiron; and son, Roger Johnson.
She is survived by her children, Naomi Cote, of Frederica, Frank Johnson, Jr. of Georgia, Ralph Johnson of Smyrna, Brenda Boyd of Felton and Sandy Johnson of Newark; sister, Jessie Reinholz of Clayton and Hamilton Garcia of California.
Memorial services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt. 10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be private.
