Nancy S. Lane, 71
LEWES - Nancy S. Lane passed away at Paradise Senior Living in Georgetown on Monday, June 7, 2021. She was born in Milford on July 17, 1949 to the late James Allen Johnson and Nathalia Emma Nelson Johnson.
Nancy owned and operated Nancy's Lawn Care Service for over 34 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her son, Gary Lane; and a brother, Randy Johnson.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Bobbie (David) Morris and Monica (David) Rollins; brother, Douglas (Gail) Johnson; grandchildren, Kristen Morris, Stephen Morris and Ashley Rollins (fiance Brandon); and great-grandchildren, D'Juan Sheppard, Da'Cai Sheppard, Kaleah Sheppard, Myla Sheppard, Bailey Clark and Brantley Baughman.
Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 1 p.m. A time of visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date at Henlopen Memorial Park. All attending will be asked to follow masking guidance issued by the CDC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Ronald McDonald House of Delaware, 1901 Rockland Road., Wilmington, DE 19803 or National Processing Center/Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 and designate for "Delaware Chapter".
