Nancy Alexander Anderson aka "Na" passed peacefully Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018 surrounded by family at her home in Naples, Fla.
Born in Seaford, in 1925 daughter of Harry and Bernice Alexander
She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her eldest child, Candace Louise Anderson. She is survived by three children, Patricia Foresman, Alex Anderson, and Andrea A. O'Day, numerous grand-children, great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
She was a lifelong, dedicated artist, first attending Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, Pa, then belonging to the Rehoboth Art League in Delaware, as well as in Bonita Springs in Florida. She was known for her talent with oils and watercolors. Her artwork has been inspiring, and her spirit was just as creative and beautiful. She was also known for her knack of being able to keep in contact with family and friends via texts and emails well into her 90's, right up until her health permitted her from doing so.
In her younger years she worked as a secretary for the Seaford School District, and for The University of Delaware at the Virden Center in Lewes.
Graveside service will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 at 1 p.m. in Seaford.
