GREENWOOD - Nadine Fleischauer went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Birdie Forbes of Hammond, Louisiana.
Nadine had a loving marriage of almost 74 years to her late husband Bill and was a devoted wife. She was a great mom who loved her family. Nadine was a quiet, soft spoken, caring person with a sweet spirit. She loved to sing and sang in church choirs for many years, often singing duets with her son, Billy. Nadine also loved her Lord and was a faithful women of God.
She will be sorely missed by her family and friends, and to those to whom she was a second mother .
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, William Fleischauer III, and two brothers and one sister.
Nadine is survived by her two children, Eileen (Randy) Haith and Gregory (Charlotte) Fleischauer; a daughter-in-law, Donna Fleischauer; grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren; and extended family.
Friends may call Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market Street, Greenwood, DE 19950 and on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Hickory Ridge Community Church, 12237 Sussex Hwy., Greenwood. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be held at St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
