Mildred R. (Drumheller) Ragan, 92
REHOBOTH BEACH - Mildred Ragan of Rehoboth Beach went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007. She was 92.
Mildred was a longtime member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior where she played the piano and organ from 1960-88.
She was also a member of the Sand Dollars at the church.
Mildred enjoyed many bus trips to area concerts, plays and games of bridge with her lady friends.
Mildred was known to her family as "Wayo."
Wayo is described by her family as someone who was always a lady.
She was always "dressed to the nines" and ready to go at a moment"s notice.
Wayo will be missed tremendously by her family but will remain in the hearts and minds of all forever.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce Trethewey Sr. and Laura of Rehoboth Beach; three grandchildren, Bruce Trethewey Jr. of Finksburg, Md., Diane Morgan of Milton, and Brenda Meding of Milton; six great-grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Trethewey, Jennifer Sechrist, and Brian, Sarah and Eric Meding; and a sister, Janet Koller and family of Shillington, Pa.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 7 Bay Vista Road, Rehoboth Beach, where friends may call one hour prior to services in the church.
Burial will be private at Union Cemetery in Boyertown, Pa.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mildred"s name to the Lutheran Church of Our Savior.
Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes.
