Michael Phillip Wagner was born April 30, 1961, in San Diego, CA and passed away September 25, 2023, in Magnolia, DE.
He was predeceased by his father, Harold Frederick Wagner.
Michael is survived by his wife, Barbara Eddy Wagner; mother, Pauline R. Wagner; his sisters, Carmen and Mona; children, Genevieve, Elizabeth, Arlene Jeanette, James, Joelseph and Jared; stepson, Jeremy; stepdaughters, Alicia Sean Jones and Gretchen Anna Eddy; and many beloved nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Michael graduated from El Cajon Valley High School, studied aviation maintenance at Miramar College, and was certified as a commercial truck driver and an ASE Mechanic. He moved to Delaware in 1998, where he was heroic in helping care for his wife's parents. There, he ran his own auto mechanics business for over 20 years and was also a mobile mechanic for heavy equipment. Michael was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1975 and was very happy to share his hope of the earth being transformed into a paradise with no sickness, sorrow, or death. Michael enjoyed riding dirt bikes in the desert, riding his motorcycle, traveling, boating, fishing, swimming in the ocean and spending time with his friends. He is remembered for his many acts of kindness and is greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at the Felton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses at 450 Upper King Rd., Felton, DE, 19943 on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
