Michael Anthony Morris

DOVER - Michael Anthony Morris departed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 47. Born on March 6, 1961, he was the son of Sylvester Leon Morris Sr. and Barbara Ann Morris of Dover. Michael was educated in the Caesar Rodney School District. He loved his family very much. He enjoyed family gatherings, and playing spades with his friends. You could always catch him doing his word puzzles. He was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Leon Morris Sr. and his favorite aunt, Margaret Ford. He is survived by his devoted mother, Barbara Ann Morris of Dover; his daughter, Sheena Meade of Milton; one brother, Sylvester Leon Morris Jr. of Dover; four sisters, Barbara J. Morris (Michael Bracey) of Hartly, Arlene Weatherspoon (Aubrey Stevenson) of Camden, Virginia Flamer (Ricky) of Dover, and Sonja Morris (Tony Bracy) of Dover; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Saturday in Bennie Smith Funeral Home, where friends my call two hours prior. Burial will be private.
