BRIDGEVILLE - Michael A. Smith Jr., of Bridgeville, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012. He was 20. Michael was born Sept. 24, 1991, in Seaford. He graduated from Seaford High School in 2010, where he was an all-state wrestler in his senior year. Michael enjoyed going fishing, camping, playing video games, and being around his family. He was his family's Gentle Giant. He was survived by his father, Michael A. Smith Sr. of Bridgeville; his mother, Maria Martinez Boyd; and step-father, David Boyd of Seaford; three sisters, including his twin sister Skye Smith, Summer Toomey, and Krysten Toomey, all of Bridgeville; a brother, Christian Smith of Greenwood; paternal grandparents, Cynthia and Doug Willis of New Castle; maternal grandmother, Peggy Martinez of Seaford; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial services will be 6 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market Street, Greenwood. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to Fleischauer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 502, Greenwood, DE 19950 to help defray funeral cost.
