Michael A. Gass

Camden - Michael A. Gass passed away, Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, in Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia.
Mike was born Oct. 13, 1938, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and resided in Middle Village, Queens for many years, before relocating to Delaware. He served proudly in the United States Navy, then went on to a career with American Airlines before retiring. In his free time, Michael enjoyed walking, bike riding, and exercising.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna (Quinn) Gass; and his wife, Carol (Monks) Gass.
Michael is survived by his brother-in-law, Joseph E. Monks and wife, Lulu, of Houston, Texas; a brother, Frank Gass, of Long Island, N.Y.; three sisters, Margaret Ann Barning, of Ormond Beach, Fla.; Kathleen Lavoro, and Mary Gass; his nephew, William Barning; and two nieces, Valery and Kerry.
Funeral Services will take place at 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view from 2 to 4 p.m. Burial will be at 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, in All Faith's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens, N.Y.
