RICHMOND, VA - Maxwell Hughes "Hugh," 59, of Richmond, Va., passed away on June 5, 2012 after an increasingly difficult battle with cancer. His loving wife Kelli Flynn Bradford, was by his side; and his sister, Ellen Johnson, was also surrounding Hugh with love and support during his final moments. He died peacefully at home. Hugh is survived by his wife, Kelli Flynn Bradford; his sister, Ellen Johnson; his parents, M. L. Bradford and Elizabeth "Libby" Bradford; his son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Lindsay Bradford; and granddaughter, Libby Bradford. Hugh was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, an avid golfer and music lover. He had retired as a top salesman from Weldon, Williams and Lick. He was a devoted father, brother, husband and friend. He loved to spend his time gardening, cooking, traveling and taking his dogs, Aggie and Husker, for walks on the beaches in the Outer Banks, N.C. A memorial service for Hugh was held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at St. Mark's Methodist Church, 11511 Luck's Lane, Midlothian, Va. 23114. An Irish celebration of life was held immediately following the service at the Kuhn residence.
