SEMINOLE, Fla. - Maureen Lefort Pearthree of Seminole, formerly of Dover, Del., died suddenly Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, in Largo Medical Center. She was 75.
Maureen was born Aug. 15, 1931, in Plymouth, England, daughter of the late Leonard and Ivy Collier.
She moved to the United States when she married Harold G. Lefort, her beloved husband and the father of her four sons.
Maureen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed to knit and crochet. She loved traveling to England to visit relatives and friends whenever she could.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold G. Lefort; and a brother, Harold Collier of Plymouth.
She is survived by her second husband, Frank Pearthree; four sons and four daughters-in-law; Wayne and Dana Lefort of Dover, Robert and Jennifer Lefort of Largo, Donald and Nancy Lefort of Melbourne Beach, and Rick and Rebecca Lefort of Tampa; 11 grandchildren, Eric Lefort of Harrington, Aaron Lefort and Jennifer Sommer Lefort, both of Riverview, Mathew and Sean Lefort of St. Petersburg, Olivia Gavin of Largo, Nichole, Alexander and Nicholas Lefort of Melbourne Beach, and Kade Lefort and Dakota Wilson of Tampa; three great-grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew and Jake Lefort of Harrington; two nieces, Sarah Avery of Plymouth and Julie Spencer of Bath, England; and her sister-in-law, Margaret Collier of Plymouth.
Services were Saturday in E. James Reese Funeral Home, Seminole.
Interment will be held privately by family members at a later date.
