Mary Louise Glover Chandler

MILTON - Mary Louise Glover Chandler, age 66, of Milton, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at home surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness. Mary was born in Florida on May 21, 1945, to the late Zell and Minnie Mae Calhoun Glover. Mary worked as a seamstress retiring in the 80's, due to health reasons. Mary was a member of St. George AME Church, serving as a Steward & Senior Choir member. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Peter Robert Lee Chandler Sr.; three sons, Edward R. Glover of Rehoboth, Vincent O. and Angel Glover of Newark, and Peter Robert L. Glover Jr. of Milton; three daughters, Laura A. Denson of Bridgeville, Carolyn D. and Matthew Spence of Seaford, and Beverly R. and Lewis Bivens of Smyrna; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert E. Glover of Rehoboth. Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Friendship Baptist Church, 500 W. Fourth St., Lewes, where friends may call at church two hours before service and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening. Arrangements by Miller Funeral & Cremation Services, 302-947-1144.
