LAUREL - Mary L. Irons of Laurel died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, in her home. She was 96.
Mrs. Irons was born in Keller, Va., daughter of the late William Thomas and Margaret Waterfield Kellam.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Irons was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Laurel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harlie F. Joseph, in 1950; her second husband, John G. Irons in 2006; two brothers, Jeff Kellam and John Kellam.
She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, Fred and Laura Joseph of Houston; a daughter and a son-in-law, Joyce and Dr. Carl Vincent of Laurel; a brother, Roy Kellam of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Kim Lewis, Brent Cooper and Brenda McCarty, all of Laurel and Emily Joseph of Houston; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Centenary United Methodist Church, West Market Street, Laurel, where friends may call one hour earlier.
The Rev. John Van Tine and Dr. Carl Vincent will officiate.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Laurel.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Centenary U.M. Church, 200 W. Market St., Laurel, DE 19956.
