Mary Ellen Gillespie, 83LINCOLN - Mary Ellen Gillespie passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
Mary Ellen was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Jenaro and Tessie Maringola. She was a seamstress with Draperies Etc. for years, leaving there she was employed by Food Lion, where she retired. Her favorite activities were going to yard sales, playing bingo and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Gillespie.
She survived by her children, Leroy Gillespie (Bonnie), Barbara Marvel, R.J. Gillespie (Christina), David Gillespie (Shaina) and Theresa Davis; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Her services will be private.
