MILLSBORO - Mary E. Nelson of Millsboro died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, in Millsboro. She was 80.
Mrs. Nelson was the daughter of the late Isaac and Christine (Harmon) Miller.
She retired from Townsends Inc. after 20 years of service and started her own day care service.
She loved to go out to dinner and do needle work.
Mrs. Nelson was a member of Friendship Methodist Church in Millsboro, where she sang in the choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Nelson, in 1985.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, James and Ethel Finney, Joanne and Dennis Thompson and Simon Mannings, all of Millsboro, and Robert and Yong Mannings of Viola; sisters, Jennie Hitchens and Blanche Miller, both of Millsboro; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Sarah Harmon of Lewes.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St., Millsboro.
Services will be noon Friday in Friendship Methodist Church, Millsboro. The Rev. George Fisher Sr. will officiate.
