Wyoming - Martha M. (Paszkowski) Myers passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024.
Martha was born on July 3,1942 in Krystynopol, Poland. She immigrated to the United States of America in November 1948.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Mort), her parents Ignace (Pop), Josephine (Babcie), sister Anna and brother Stanley.
She is survived by her children, Liz Perry (Ron and son Luke), Jimmy Myers and Vicky Grimes (Keith) and grandson Kyle. Her brother-in-law David, nephews Morton, Michael and Matthew, their spouses, a great nephew, and great nieces.
Martha was a homemaker for many years raising her children and caring for her mother, whom she truly adored. She worked at Kent County Levy Court as a receptionist for 15 years and retired in 2004. Anyone who entered the original Kent County building was greeted by Martha and saw the beautiful plants and flowers she brought in and tended to. They were beautiful and always a “conversation piece” to the visitors and staff. Her love of flowers and “natural green thumb” were evident in the flower gardens and plants in her home as well.
Martha loved all her four-legged fur babies as family. Each was spoiled with extra special treats and so much unconditional love. Her love of animals carried over to donations of support to many organizations throughout her life.
Years ago, Martha worked and volunteered at numerous elections. She supported, understood and appreciated the Election process. It was always a good time for her to be working with friends, interacting with the public and the excitement of the election.
Special thanks to her dear friend, Vanita Darling. She brightened many days for Martha with greeting cards and special heartfelt notes written to her.
The Myers Family would like to give Special Thanks and recognition to the staff at Cadia Renaissance in Millsboro, Delaware. Martha had been a resident there for the past 4 ½ years. The loving care, compassion, and attention she was given has been greatly appreciated.
Last respects for Family and Friends will be held December 14, 2024, between 10am and 11am at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, DE. A private Christian mass and burial will follow at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First State Animal Center and SPCA.
