MILLSBORO - Mark Thomas Mudry, of Millsboro, died early Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, in a fatal automobile accident. He was 49.
Born in Wilmington on Nov. 6 1958, he was the son of Marion Mudry and the late Nicholas (Tink) J. Mudry Sr. of Ocean View.
Mark worked for 1st Class Heating & Air of Millsboro and took great pride in his twin sons.
He was a huge New York Giants fan and would have reveled in their winning the Super Bowl this year.
Mark was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
He graduated from Indian River High School in 1976.
Mark proudly served in the U.S. Army, as well as the U.S. Coast Guard.
He is survived by his mother, Marion Mudry of Ocean View; a daughter, Crystal Mudry; a son, Mark Jr., both of New Mexico; his twin sons, Andrew and Derrick Mudry, age 10, of Ocean View; his brother and sister-in-law, Nicholas J. and Cynthia Mudry of Ocean View; a niece, Jennifer Cutter of Dagsboro; and a nephew, Mathew Mudry of Ocean View.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Avenue, Ocean View.
A celebration of Mark's life will be held immediately following the service at the home of his brother Nicholas and Cynthia Mudry, 20 Holly Lane, Ocean View.
Instead of flowers, contributions for a future college fund may be made at any PNC Bank in the name of Nicholas Mudry for Andrew and Derrick Mudry.
