Mark Knolls

FELTON - Mark Knolls passed away Sat., July 27, 2013. Mr. Knolls was born in Milford, Del., the son of Franklin and Genevieve (Jester) Knolls. Mark had a love for Harley Davidson, classic cars, the Dallas Cowboys, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Everyone who knew Mark knew he had strong opinions and was never short on words. He worked as a general contractor and attended Manship Chapel in Felton. He proudly serviced in the Marine Corps from 1980-1984 and was a member of the VFW in Felton, and the American Legion in Harrington. Mark was a loving husband, father, and 'Pop-Pop' and will be sadly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois Knolls; daughters, Amber and Amanda Knolls; his parents, Franklin and Genevieve Knolls of Felton; grandchildren, Keyra Knolls, Tristyn Beene, Kevin Burris III, and Elijah Burris; siblings, Wayne Knolls, Jay Knolls, Margaret Smith, and Janet Rash. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Manship Chapel, 4912 Burnite Mill Rd, Felton, DE. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main St., Felton, DE. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.
