MILLSBORO - Mark Edward Sutphin, of Millsboro, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 60. Mark is survived by his mother, Virginia Lee Richardson; his wife, Susan; his son, Gabriel and wife Brandi, and their four daughters, Mary, Sarah, Emily and Madison; his daughter, Gillie and her husband Tim, and their daughter Willow; his brother, Randy and his wife Diane, and their daughter Jessica. A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 20, at Bay Shore Community Church in Gumboro. A second memorial service will be held at a later date in the Shenandoah Valley, Va., where he lived for much of his life. Contact the family for further information.
