Marilyn Ruth Dick, 74
DOVER - Marilyn Ruth Dick of Dover, formerly of Canton and Joliet, Ill., passed away Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 74.
Mrs. Dick was born April 22, 1932, in Macomb, Ill., daughter of the late Howard and Trilby (Kiefer) Morris.
She married William Lee Dick Oct. 22, 1949.
Mrs. Dick is now healed and safe in the arms of her Savior, Jesus, and will be dearly missed by her family, whom she loved so much.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Dick, in September 1979; a sister; a son; and a daughter.
She is survived by five children and their spouses, Tom and Connie Dick of Pekin, Ill.; Robert and Eve Dick of Dover; Carolyn and Mike Horr of Canton; Gary Dick of Salinas, Kan.; Steven Dick of Parrish, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Carlson Funeral Home, Joliet, where friends may call one hour earlier.
