Marian (Kreckel) Noon, 93

DAGSBORO - Marian (Kreckel) Noon of Dagsboro died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, in Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Berlin, Md. She was 93.

She was the daughter of the late Carl Kreckel Pearl (Alcampe) Kreckel.

Mrs. Noon was born in Washington, D.C., and moved to this area in 1996 from Hyattsville, Md., where she lived for 50 years.

She was a very active person and loved gardening and crocheting. She had served as a librarian at Dematha Boys Catholic High School in Hyattsville for 20 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Joseph Bell; her second husband, Peter T. Noon; a daughter, Barbara Ann McEntee; a son, William Bell; and two brothers, James Kreckel and Paul Kreckel.

She is survived by a daughter, Margery (Bell) Walker of Dagsboro; two stepdaughters, Maureen McCarthy of Salisbury, Md., and Kerry Noon of Berkley Springs, W.Va.; a stepson, Peter Noon of Columbia, Md.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Ann"s Catholic Church, Bethany Beach. The Rev. David Kelley will officiate.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven, Ocean View.

Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville Chapel, Clarksville.
