Margaret Jeanette (Wainwright) Turnbull, 90
SEAFORD - Margaret Jeannette (Wainwright) Turnbull of Seaford, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, in Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was 90.
Mrs. Turnbull was born in Reliance, daughter of the late Nettie Mills and James J. Wainwright.
She lived most of her life in New York, working as a child's nurse, returning to Seaford in 1986.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Silas Wainwright, in 1997; a sister, Elizabeth Wainwright Ellis Lankford Holt, in 1993; and her husband, John Reid Turnbull, in 1975.
She is survived by a sister and a brother-in-law, June W. and Nelson Vanvorst of Laurel; three sisters-in-law, Frances Wainwright of Salisbury, Md., Agnes Turnbull of Saysville, N.J., and Julie Turnbull of Saysville; two nieces, Dianna Halpen and her husband Al of Seaford, and Julia Ann Whitney of Saysville; two nephews, Clayton Wainwright and his wife Barbara of Salisbury, and James Ellis and his wife Sue of Seaford; a great-niece, Tammy Jones and her husband Tommy of Seaford; and a great-nephew, James Ellis and his wife Renee of Seaford.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front and King streets, Seaford, where friends may call one hour earlier.
The Rev. Richard J. Bridge will officiate.
Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford.
