Margaret Ann Crockett, 67

BEAR - Margaret Ann Crockett of Bear, formerly of Dover, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, in Silver Lake Center, Dover, surrounded by her family. She was 67.

Mrs. Crockett was born May 10, 1939, in Patchogue, Long Island, N.Y.

She worked as an independent driver for the Delaware State News, Polytech High School, where she had worked in the cafeteria and more recently for the Appoquinimink School District.

She enjoyed traveling, shopping and listening to country music, especially blue grass.

Mrs. Crockett will be remembered as a loving and dedicated daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold O. Perry; her husband, Charles Crockett; a son, Charles Ray Crockett; a brother, Orlando Perry; and a great-grandson, James Durham.

She is survived by her close companion, Henry Miller of Bear; her mother and stepfather, Edna and Donald Williams of Dover; three children, Annette Crocket and her companion, Walter Durham, of Dover, Jeffery D. Crockett of Maryland and Dawn Crockett of Hartly; two sisters, Peggy Kessler of Hartly and Linda Yates Lapenski of Woodside; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. The Rev. Richard Lambert will officiate.

Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
