CAMDEN-WYOMING Madeline E. Kling entered God's Kingdom the morning of April 19th, 2013. She was born in Greensboro, Md., on August 31, 1914 to August and Magdelina Brogley. She grew up poor as many people of her era did. She always had empathy for people who struggled in life and were not as fortunate as she was. She had six siblings Paul, Mary (Rowe), Jim, Elizabeth (Dill), August, and Leon, all predeceased. She married Wesley L. Kling in August 9, 1947 and they were married for almost 58 years until his death in July 22, 2005. They built Kling's Meat Mkt together and worked side by side until it's closing in 1984. Madeline was a kind, patient and loving person. She had very few wants in life. She loved gardening and her house was always landscaped with an abundance of flowers. She will be sadly missed by her children, Jack and his wife, Eileen, Don and his wife, Peg and her daughter, Linda; and by her grandchildren, John W. Kling Jr, Jennifer and her husband, Chris Scott, Leslie and her husband, Jessie Torbert and Marcie Stephenson. She loved and cherished her seven great-grandchildren, Kyle King, Haley, Sarah, and Christopher Scott, and Maggie, Morgan and Johnny Kling; and one great-great-grandchild, Orion Wesley King. They gave her so much joy in her later years. She did not live long enough to see her granddaughter Leslie's baby girl be born, due in August, but the circle of life continues. Our family wishes to thank all the special people who have made Madeline's life here on earth so special including members of the Wyoming United Methodist, Meals on Wheels, Delaware Hospice, the special nurses who cared for her over the last month of her life and all the selfless people who enriched our mothers life with their caring. A viewing will be held 7 to 9 p.m Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Pippin Funeral Home in Wyoming, DE and funeral services on 11 am Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the same location. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
