SEAFORD - Lula Littleton Webb passed away quietly into God's loving arms on Monday January 31, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born November 7, 1924, in Ocean View, Del., daughter of the late George & Deborah (Fenton) Littleton.
She graduated Millsboro High School in 1942 and shortly thereafter she went to work for the DuPont Company in Seaford, Del. On October 29, 1946, she married Ira Joseph Webb. After marriage she devoted her life to being a wife, homemaker and full-time mother raising her children. She also lovingly dedicated many years to care for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents; Lula was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Webb; one brother, Joshua Littleton; and six sisters, Florence Borleski, Eva McCabe, Elsie Godwin, Marguerite Moore, Dorothy Marvel and Elva Elliott.
She is survived by her two children, daughter Patsy Banks (Stanley), son James Webb; granddaughters, Tina Foskey (Jeff), Mary Beth West (Fred), Janice Hoffman (Willie); and great grandchildren, Freddie West, Abigail West, Natalie Hoffman, Will Hoffman. She will be remembered by all for her gentle and kind spirit.
The family will be forever grateful for the activities department, therapy team, nursing & CNA care that Mrs. Webb received from Harrison House of Georgetown, Del., especially her daily caregivers, Dawn, and Marie.
Lula's funeral arrangements will be handled by Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford, Del. on Monday, February 7, 2022 with a viewing at 12 p.m. and service at 1 p.m. Pastor Curtis Jones will officiate.
Interment will be at Blades Cemetery, Blades, Del.
