Lorna L. Cote, 84

LEWES - Lorna L. Cote of Lewes died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. She was 84.

Mrs. Cote was born in Bangor, Maine, daughter of the late Homer Howard and Lena (Oakes) Leavitt.

She relocated to Delaware about 12 years ago from Baltimore and Maine.

Mrs. Cote was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Camille P. Cote of Lewes; a daughter, Carole J. Ochlech of Georgetown; a son, Howard H. Cote and his wife Mary of Quantico, Va.; four grandchildren, Beau Cote and his wife Jonida of Erie, Pa., Michelle Bergman and her husband Michael of Columbus, Ga., Camille Cartrette of Baltimore, and Lorna Cartrette of York, Pa.; and seven great-grandchildren, Hana Cote of Jacksonville, Fla., Michael Bergman III of Columbus, Ga., and Isabella Ovito, Devon James, Theodore Cartrette, Casey Snyder and Ciera Lehman, all of Baltimore.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, with Pastor Ronald Dearstine officiating.

Visitation hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, all at the funeral home.

Interment will follow the funeral services on Monday at Henlopen Memorial Park, Del. 1, Milton.
