NEPTUNE, NJ - Loretta C. McNelis, 90, of Neptune, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010 at Imperial Care Center in Neptune N.J. Loretta was born and raised in Allentown PA, and lived most of her life in N.J. During the past 8 years she lived in North Carolina and Delaware. She was a member of the Holy Family Society in Pennsylvania, and loved bowling. But most important to her was spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Loretta is predeceased by her loving husband, Harry J. McNelis, who passed away in 2002; as well as two sisters and one brother. She is survived by seven children, Thomas P McNelis and his wife Carrie Ann of Neptune, N.J., Mary Ann Fletcher of North Carolina, Patricia Dague and her husband William of Toms River, N.J., Margaret Martin and her husband Larry of California, John A. McNelis of California, Joseph McNelis of Howell, N.J., and Robert McNelis of Delaware; two sisters, Beatrice Roth and Agnes McGuire both of P.A. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday Nov. 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's RC Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall PA. 18052. Interment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery in Bethlehem P.A. Memorial donations may be made in Loretta's name to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St. Suite 301, Robbinsville, N.J. 08691.
