Lorene Lenae Kish, 68

DENTON, Md. - Lorene Lenae Kish, of Denton, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, in Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 68. She was born Jan. 26, 1941, in Greensboro, Ga., to the late Rudolph and Eula Mae Mathis Dye. Mrs. Kish was a 1959 graduate of Caroline High School. In 1983 she began her career as a certified medical aid for the Wesleyan Nursing Home, currently Envoy of Denton, and served there for 19 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Kish Sr. in 1972 to whom she remained devoted, also her parents and her brother John Butler Sr. She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Shelton of Camden; two sons, Robert Leon Kish Jr. of Clayton, Del., and James R. Kish of Harrington, Del.; eight grandchildren, Jerry Taylor, Chris Taylor, Jennifer Taylor, Robert Kish III, Jamie Kish, Raymond Shelton, Tyler LeCates, and Brady Kish; five great-grandchildren, Devon, Bobby, Nicolas, Wayne, and Lilly; one cousin and devoted friend, Martha Passwaters of Denton; and two nephews, Timothy and John Butler Jr. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, where visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Interment will be in Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro. Condolences may be sent via www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com.
