HARRINGTON - Lois E. Morgan passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 9, 1941 in Milford, Del.; the daughter of the late Cortland Rash and Cynthia Dean Rash.
She was married to Benjamin Morgan. He preceded her in death in 1981.
She worked for many years as a cook at People's Restaurant in Harrington. Through the years, she made many friends and acquaintances with her love of homemade cooking and baking. Later she worked for the shirt factory in Harrington.
In addition of her love for cooking and feeding her family and friends, she was an avid "yard sale shopper" and collector. She enjoyed the hunt of treasures, collecting recipes, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Molesi of Harrington; six grandchildren, Matthew Morgan of Harrington, Sarah Jones of Camden, Samuel Molesi of Harrington, Benjamin Molesi of Salisbury, Md., Shane Mitchell of Harrington and Ashley Lahman; four great grandchildren, Rosalie Molesi, Colin Brooks, Jamie Brooks and Ava Lahman; a sister, Jerrie Outten; a brother, Paul Rash of Harrington; and her two best friends, Janice Faye Dennis and Janet Benson.
In addition to her husband and her parents; she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Morgan; and a brother, Ray Rash.
At her request, services will be private.
