Lloyd "Butch" Armour, Sr. of Harrington, DE, passed June 2, 2023, at the Hospice Home in Milford. Butch was born July 30, 1955, in Groton, CT, the son of the late Donald & Helen Armour.
Butch graduated from Lake Forest High School and began a career in farming. Later in life he drove a truck for multiple carriers for over 30 years. He retired from Mountaire in December of last year. When not working this proud "Pop-Pop" could be found hunting, fishing, and spending time with family, especially his grand kids.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Lloyd Armour Jr. (Erin); his daughter, Nicole Armour (Jonathan Mahoney); his grandchildren, Logan Armour, Maddie & Max Bichy, Lyllian Armour, Calen Harley, and Rosalie & Arielle Mahoney; his siblings, Donna Hurd (Richard) & Jeffrey Armour (Tomasina Hawkins); nieces, Kasie Hurd, Heather Patterson & Andrea Hurd, extended family and friends.
Memorial service Friday, June 9, 2023, 6 p.m. at Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, DE; where friends may call beginning at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Delaware Hospice.
