GEORGETOWN - Lewis B. Ball, of Georgetown, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 68.
Mr. Ball was born in Thacker, W.Va., son of the late Lewis G. and Macie (Bowling) Ball.
He was a plumber for many years and worked for C&D Contractors, Wilmington.
He enjoyed horse racing, baseball and football.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Wyatt; a brother, William David Ball; and a loving companion, Dorothy Deagro.
Mr. Ball is survived by a daughter, Donna Pavusa and her companion Kelvin Wyatt, of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Christina Ball and Debra Ball; two great-grandchildren, Caleb Lewis Ball and Leia Jo Carey; five brothers, Jerry Ball of Columbus, Ohio, Thomas Ball of Freeburn, Ky., Harold Ball of Arkansas, John David Ball of Morganton, N.C., and Steve Ball of Matewan, W.Va.; two sisters, Emma Cisco of Morganton, and Mabel Watkins of Grove City, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Georgetown.
