Lawrence Charles Conway

GEORGETOWN - Lawrence Charles Conway, Jr. passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 2, 2018.
Lawrence was born in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late Lawrence, Sr. and Rachael (Miller) Conway. Mr. Conway retired from Vlasic, and later Pinnacle Foods, after 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 28 and a Classic Chevy Club. He loved going to the flea markets, collecting milk bottles, and playing the slots. He was a hard worker and a kind and caring family man.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Conway; and daughter, Tina.
He is survived by his sons, Lawrence C. (Lisa) Conway, III and Brian (Corinna) Conway; step-children, Sharon (Lance) Shoemaker, Edward (Cindy) Givens, David (Dee) Givens, and R.T. (Debbie) Givens; brothers, Michael and Robin Conway; 20 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro. Interment to follow.
Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Georgetown.
