'Larry' Baker, 62
MILFORD, Del. - Laurence P. "Larry" Baker passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 surrounded by his family. Larry was born in Milford, the son of William C. and Alice (King) Baker.
He went to Milford High School with 3 special friends Roger Wood, James Kidd and Scutch Kenton. He worked at ED Supply for many years. Larry liked watching TV, especially the "Waltons". He enjoyed riding motorcycles, spending time with his family, friends and neighbors and loved being able to help them out when needed. He also loved being outside in his yard.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Holly M. (Cain) Baker; his special fur baby, Abby; his mother and father, Alice and William C. Baker; two brothers, Bill Baker and Jack Baker (Holly); one sister, Bev Bowden (Leroy); one brother-in-law, Robby Cain (Debby); and six nieces and nephews, Bill, Chris, Lori, Tammy, Michael and Kim.
A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Christian Tabernacle Church, 18940 Johnson Rd., Lincoln, Del. where a visitation will be held from 10:30 - 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the First State Animal Shelter and S.P.C.A., 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
