DOVER - Larry Palmer of Dover died Wednesday, May 2, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 43.
Mr. Palmer was born Oct. 9, 1963, in Marion, Va., the son of the late Robert Palmer and Nancy Havens Kelly of Dover.
Mr. Palmer worked as a shift coordinator for Croda Chemical Co. for the past 11 years.
Mr. Palmer was an avid car enthusiast and particularly had a passion for hot rods and old cars.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marie Havens, and Merrill and Hazel Palmer.
He is survived by his fiancée, Marsha L. Lloyd of Dover; two children, Joshua Palmer and Melanie Palmer, both of Dover; his mother, Nancy Kelly and her husband, Richard Kelly; a grandfather, Joe Havens of New Castle; a brother, Robert Palmer of Dover; and several aunts and uncles.
Memorial services will be Tuesday at 8 p.m. in Faries Funeral Chapel 29 S. Main St., Smyrna. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m.
Burial will be private.
