DOVER, Del. - Lance Howard Waltzer passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Lance was born November 10, 1961 in Brooklyn, New York to Franklin and Deborah Waltzer.
Lance served proudly in the United States Air Force while stationed in Italy. Lance had a passion for food and cooking having opened his own restaurant called a "Taste of Italy". Lance enjoyed music and going to jazz festivals with his daughter and most importantly his family. Lance had a kind heart always giving to many in any way that he could.
Lance was predeceased in death by his mother, Deborah Lichter; and his stepfather, Louis Lichter.
Lance is survived by his wife, Susan (Letts) Waltzer; his children, Alisha Waltzer, Fabio Waltzer, Aiden Waltzer, all of Dover, Delaware and his daughter, Annamaria Waltzer, of Camden, Del. Also surviving are his sister, Kim McEvoy and her husband Tom of Stone Ridge, N.Y.; his nephew, Ryne McEvoy of New York City; stepchildren, Philip Sasse of Florida, Vivian and Gabrielle Sasse of Newark, Del.; three grandchildren, Angelina, India and Lorenzo including 2 more on the way. Also surviving is his father, Frank Waltzer of Cape Coral, Florida; including aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Del. where family and friends may gather from 2-3 p.m.
