BRIDGEVILLE - Kyle E. Lucas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at Christiana Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Gloria Jean Lucas for 33 years. Born in Dungannon Va., Mr. Lucas was the son of Bill and Lillian Lucas. Kyle had retired from Louisiana Pacific in 2000. He had also been a self-employed welder for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years, and since moving to Delaware, he really enjoyed fishing around the bay. In addition to his wife, Mr. Lucas was survived by his son, William Kyle Lucas husband of Jackie Lucas of Kirkwood, Pa.; his daughter, Michelle Jean Sharp of Coatesville, Pa.; and two step-sons, Mark Roberts of Chandler, Okla., and Chad Roberts of Milford; he has nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, and two on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Geneva Davis. Services are private. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home.
