Felton - Kenneth B. Dixon, was born on July 27, 1947, in Milford, to the late Floyd S. Benson and Helen V. Dixon (Pritchett). He departed this life and entered external rest on May 14, 2018 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd S. Benson and Helen V. Dixon (Pritchett); brother, Louis E. Benson Sr.; sisters, Margaret Dixon, Helen Abrams and Verna Roberts; aunt, Lula Mae Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Elva G. Dixon of 28 years; his six step-children, 11 step-grandchildren; three brothers, Floyd S. Dixon (Beverly), Edward Pritchett, Alphonso Pritchett (Wanda); six sisters, Margaret Harris (Kenneth), Josephine Mae, Virginia Young, Loretta Mann, Agnes Taylor (Ralph), Cheryl Pritchett; one brother-in-law, Theodore Williams; five sister-in-laws, Judy Benson, Smyrna, Gennette Williams (James), Ann Harmon (Buster), Elizabeth Roberson; aunt, Dorothy Gayle (Ashley); uncle, Robert Dixon; close friends, Jimmie Summers and Edward Garrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
There will be a viewing on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division Street, Dover, DE 19904.
