CECILTON, Md. - Katherine Woolens Ginn of Cecilton died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, in the Chestertown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chestertown. She was 86.
Mrs. Ginn was born June 3, 1921, in New London, Pa., daughter of the late John and Anna (Lewis) Woolens.
She held many jobs in her life. Her most recent job was working as a cook for Luisa"s Restaurant in Chestertown.
Mrs. Ginn enjoyed needlework, watching the Orioles play, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Allan Ginn, in 2001.
She is survived by three sons, Randy Thomas of Cecilton, Richard Thomas of Hollywood, Fla., and Theodore Thomas of Rising Sun; one daughter, Cathy Thomas of Townsend, Del.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 226 E. Main St., Cecilton, where friends may call one hour prior to service.
Interment will be held in St. Paul"s Cemetery, Earleville.
