CLAYTON - Katherine E. Fearon, age 59, of Clayton, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016. Katherine worked for nearly 20 years as a nurse. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Smyrna. She was preceded in death by her son, Ian Kosky; and her father, Gregory Kirkwood, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband, John; two sons, Kevin and Andrew Kosky; her mother, Grace Kirkwood; her sisters, Valerie Moore and Jennifer Cole; her brothers, Gregory (Rose) Kirkwood, Jr. and Harry Kirkwood; five grandchildren; and multiple loving nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Memorial services will begin at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be private. Condolence letters may also be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
