FELTON - June J. Roe, 77, of Felton, formerly of Milford, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Courtland Manor Nursing Home, Dover. June was born in Greenwood, the daughter of the late Gray and Emma Williamson. She was a homemaker. She also worked part time as a nurse's aid, beginning at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood for two years, then at Milford Hospital for one year and at Kent General Hospital for two years, working in both hospitals' labor and delivery unit as well as the nursury. In her spare time, June enjoyed making afghans and loved to crochett. She also liked working with plastic canvas and yarn as well as watching TV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Frank in 2010; as well as a brother and sister. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Valdesere and her husband Robert, of Felton; two sons, Frank P. Roe, Jr. and his wife Bobbie, of Weidman, Mich. and Garry Lee Roe, Sr., of Dover; nine grandchildren, Andrew, John, Michael, Treka, Jessi, Caleb, Trae, Angel, Ashlyn and Little Garry; eight great grandchildren; and three sisters, Doris Kates, Betty Hammond and Gladys Yeako. Services and burial will be private. Arrangments by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
