CAMDEN - She was born in Camden, N.J., to the late Sherwood Robinson and Isabel Holden. June is survived by her husband of 30 plus years, Marvin "Kooky" Young; two children, John Hutchinson and Christine Kim; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked in banking for Wilmington Trust and Felton Bank for over 20 years. In her retired years, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. June's real passion in her life was being a caregiver. She loved all animals, but especially cats. She adopted, fed, nursed to health and found homes for every stray cat she came in contact with.
The last few years, June opened her home and her heart, to two very special children, who meant the world to her. She spent all of her time being "Auntie" and loving all around her. Per June's wishes, in lieu of flowers, please adopt a cat.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 at Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, a memorial service will follow the visitation at 2 p.m.
